The Arab Image Foundation’s new space in Kantari features preservation, digitisation and research labs, along with an auditorium/screening room and a common library.
The common library is shared with Dawawine, Archive Books and Public Works, and is equipped with internet and workspaces, houses publications spanning photography, art, theory, feminism, film, music, history and urbanism, as well as our on-site photographic database.
We are open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Arab Image Foundation.
Database and Assisted Research
Our photographic collections are accessible via our on-site database. You are welcome to browse the database anytime. Our researchers are available to assist you in your search.
If you are undertaking more detailed research that requires devoted time and our researchers’ knowledge on the collections, we ask you to please send us a message describing your research interest, and preferred consultation time.
To book an assisted research session, contact research@arabimagefoundation.org
